The celebrations of ESOFT UNI Graduation 2026 continued at BMICH, Colombo, on Day 02, with two sessions recognising graduates who completed Computing and Information Technology qualifications through different academic pathways.

Following the opening day, Day 02 placed the spotlight on students who had progressed through advanced studies in Computing and Information Technology. With proud families and loved ones in attendance, graduates crossed the stage to mark the successful completion of their academic journeys.

The first session of Day 02, the fourth session of Graduation 2026, recognised students who successfully completed London Metropolitan University Computing Software Engineering Top-Up studies.

Mr. K. V. Kuganathan, Group Chief Information Officer (CIO), Janashakthi Group, attended the ceremony as Chief Guest. His presence added valuable industry perspective to an occasion celebrating graduates preparing to enter the rapidly evolving technology sector.

The second session recognised graduates from other London Metropolitan University Computing programmes and Bachelor of Information Technology programmes.

Dr. Piyal Ariyananda, Head of Academics, Global Skills Development Campus, attended the ceremony as Chief Guest.

The session highlighted the broad range of opportunities available within Computing and Information Technology. As technology continues to shape industries and workplaces, graduates are increasingly expected to apply their knowledge, solve problems, adapt to change and continue developing their skills throughout their careers.

For the graduates, the ceremony represented both the completion of an important academic milestone and the beginning of new opportunities in professional development, postgraduate education and employment.

Day 02 also highlighted ESOFT UNI’s commitment to providing internationally connected higher education pathways. The London Metropolitan University programmes celebrated during the day demonstrated the opportunities available for students to develop industry-relevant knowledge and skills through internationally recognised academic pathways.

Throughout both sessions, the atmosphere at BMICH was filled with pride and excitement as graduates celebrated alongside their families, lecturers and academic teams.

ESOFT UNI congratulates all graduates recognised on Day 02 of Graduation 2026 and extends its appreciation to their families, academics, administrative teams, industry representatives and university leadership for their continued support.
