Some of the most valuable lessons in higher education happen beyond the classroom.

That spirit came alive at L’amuse 2026, the annual talent show organised by the Department of English Language of ESOFT Metro Campus – Gampaha, where creativity, confidence, and self-expression shared the spotlight.

Held on 01 July 2026, the event transformed the campus into a vibrant stage, giving students the opportunity to showcase their talents through singing, dancing, drama, and a variety of creative performances. More than a competition, it was a celebration of individuality, passion, and the courage to perform in front of an audience.

Talent deserves a stage. Confidence grows when it finds one.

Every performance reflected the dedication and enthusiasm of the participants, while the encouragement from fellow students, lecturers, and staff created an atmosphere that was both inspiring and uplifting. It was a reminder that university life is about discovering strengths that extend far beyond academic achievement.

The competition concluded with well-earned recognition for the outstanding performers. Gagani Imesha claimed the title of Winner, Sanithi Senulya was named First Runner-Up, and M. Kalhara secured the position of Second Runner-Up. Their remarkable performances left a lasting impression on both the judges and the audience.
