Choosing the right educational and career pathway is one of the most important decisions in a student’s life. To support students and families in making informed choices, ESOFT successfully conducted the “Shaping Futures: Career Guidance and Student Engagement Session” on 7 June 2026.

The event brought together students, parents, academic staff, and industry professionals for a meaningful discussion on higher education pathways, career planning, employability, and future opportunities.

A key feature of the session was the career guidance segment, where students were introduced to emerging industries, in-demand professions, and the importance of continuous learning and skill development. Discussions covered career sectors including Information Technology, Business Management, Engineering, Digital Marketing, and several other fields that offer opportunities locally and internationally.

The programme also highlighted the important role parents play in supporting their children’s educational and career aspirations. Through presentations and interactive discussions, parents were encouraged to maintain open communication with their children and actively guide them when making decisions about future studies and career goals.

Participants also had the opportunity to take part in question-and-answer sessions, where they could seek clarification on higher education options, career planning, employability, and industry expectations. These discussions helped address common concerns and provided practical guidance for both students and parents.
