The Certificate in STEM at ESOFT is a four-month STEAM programme designed for children aged 8 and above. Built around the idea of *”Learning by Building, from Day One”*, it introduces young learners to science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics through hands-on projects and exciting challenges.
Students explore seven key areas: robotics engineering, electronics, coding, 3D design and making, IoT projects, creative design and engineering. Guided by expert facilitators and industry professionals, they learn to apply new concepts, experiment with technology and turn imaginative ideas into practical solutions.
The programme develops essential future-ready skills, including problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, communication and time management. Practical activities encourage students to understand basic electronics, programming and prototyping while building confidence through exploration and discovery.
Learning experiences include engaging space-themed challenges such as 3D rocket design, crew selection simulations, rocket navigation and Mars rover projects. After completing six puzzles, students work on a personal project under the guidance of instructors, helping them build a portfolio that reflects their achievements.
With ESOFT’s supportive, project-based learning environment, the Certificate in STEM inspires young innovators to explore their potential and take their first steps towards future academic and career opportunities in a fun and engaging setting.
