The Business Management Division of ESOFT Metro Campus – Batticaloa organized an industrial visit to strengthen students’ practical understanding of business operations. On 2nd April 2026, a group of 39 students, accompanied by 5 academic staff members, visited Brandix (Arayampathy) and East Milk (Chenkalady). The visit was planned to connect classroom learning with real-world industry practices.
The visit gave students a clear view of how established organizations function in competitive environments. At Brandix, students observed large-scale manufacturing processes, production workflows, quality control procedures, and operational practices. This helped them relate key academic concepts such as operations management and supply chain coordination to actual industry settings.
At East Milk, students explored the dairy production process, including processing techniques, hygiene standards, packaging, and distribution. This exposure showed how business practices are applied across different industries to maintain efficiency and quality.
Throughout the visit, students interacted with industry professionals, asked questions, and gained a better understanding of workplace expectations. The experience also helped improve their critical thinking and awareness of potential career paths within the business and manufacturing sectors.
This industrial visit reflects ESOFT’s commitment to providing learning experiences beyond the classroom. Direct exposure to real working environments helps students build confidence and develop practical knowledge. Such initiatives continue to support the development of capable individuals who can adapt to the demands of the modern business environment.
