The Job

• Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops in various IT subjects.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and instructional technologies to enhance the learning experience.
• Ensure that course content is current, relevant, and aligned with industry standards and advancements.
• Design and administer assessments, exams, projects, and assignments.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their performance.
• Engage in scholarly activities, research, and publication in the field of Information Technology.
• Stay current with developments in the IT field and integrate new knowledge into teaching practices.
• Mentor students in their academic and career pursuits, including guiding them on research projects and professional development.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with industry professionals and organizations.

The Person

• Degree with a specialization in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or computer networking with a second class or first class degree from a recognized university.
• Having an MSc in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Cyber Security or related discipline
• Candidates with a PhD in IT or PhD reading are encouraged to apply
• Prior experience in teaching at the undergraduate level is preferred
• Industry experience in IT or related fields is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of IT principles, practices, and technologies.
• Excellent teaching, presentation, and communication skills.
