The Job
- Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops in various IT subjects.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and instructional technologies to enhance the learning experience.
- Ensure that course content is current, relevant, and aligned with industry standards and advancements.
- Design and administer assessments, exams, projects, and assignments.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their performance.
- Engage in scholarly activities, research, and publication in the field of Information Technology.
- Stay current with developments in the IT field and integrate new knowledge into teaching practices.
- Mentor students in their academic and career pursuits, including guiding them on research projects and professional development.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with industry professionals and organizations.
The Person
- Degree with a specialization in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or computer networking with a second class or first class degree from a recognized university.
- Having an MSc in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Cyber Security or related discipline
- Candidates with a PhD in IT or PhD reading are encouraged to apply
- Prior experience in teaching at the undergraduate level is preferred
- Industry experience in IT or related fields is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of IT principles, practices, and technologies.
- Excellent teaching, presentation, and communication skills.
