The Young innovators who made Sri Lanka proud by winning a Runners-Up award and two Merit Awards at the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) 2024 in Brunei were felicitated by the Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya at the prime Minister’s Office.
The Prime Minister expressed her appreciation for their outstanding contributions to technological innovation and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to empowering youth in ICT, highlighting their vital role shaping the future of nation’s ICT sector.
On behalf of ESOFT Metro Campus, Mr. Nishan Sembacuttiaratchy , Chief Executive Officer of ESOFT Metro Campus, and Mr. Amila Bandara , Chief Operating Officer of ESOFT Metro Campus, attended the event , reflecting ESOFT’s commitment to nurturing young talent. As the Title Partner of the Young Computer Scientist (YCS) competition, ESOFT supported these students on their journey to Brunei by providing air tickets, enabling them to represent Sri Lanka on an international stage.
