E Thilina stands as a beacon of hope and progress, embodying ESOFT’s commitment to bridging the digital divide and fostering a technologically empowered generation. This impactful CSR project aims to provide essential IT literacy to students nationwide, ensuring they have the tools to succeed in the digital age.
Established in 2014 in partnership with Sirasa TV, E Thilina has significantly expanded its impact by donating fully equipped 33 computer labs to schools across the island, amounting to a total value of LKR 50 million. This generous initiative entails the donation of one lab each month over a three-year period.
This initiative is dedicated to illuminating the educational path for every child, paving the way for a brighter future. The highlighted moment in the project, as showed in the photographs, took place when the 14th computer laboratory at Mayurapada Central College, Narammala, was inaugurated by His Excellency President Maithripala Sirisena on October 15, 2022. This event serves as a testament to the program’s success in transforming communities and contributing to the building of a prosperous Sri Lanka.
