This programme provides students with the
opportunity to follow careers in the creative media industry that require the
ability to produce high quality media products and a demonstration of media
based competencies. It develops creative, technical and conceptual skills
required for the creative industries and includes a strong emphasis on 2D, 3D
graphics and moving images, which include: digital imaging, motion graphics,
interactive media, modelling and animation and visual effects. The course
integrates creative design with computing and technology based skills and
provides practical experience in the application of professional level software
directly relevant to the creative media job markets. This approach aims to
match industry’s need for creative media students with a high level of
technical skills.
