ESOFT UNI is proud to announce the appointment of Dr B. M. S. Dillina Herath as its new Deputy Vice Chancellor, marking an important milestone in his longstanding journey with the institution.

Dr Herath joined ESOFT in 2013 and has since played a significant role in its academic and leadership development. Throughout his years of service, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence, institutional progress and the continued advancement of higher education.

During his journey at ESOFT, Dr Herath served as Dean of the School of Business, where he contributed to strengthening academic leadership and supporting the development of the School. He later progressed to the position of Pro Vice Chancellor, continuing to provide guidance and leadership across the institution.

His progression from joining ESOFT in 2013 to serving in several key leadership positions reflects his unwavering commitment, visionary approach and deep passion for education. His journey is also a testament to the dedication and professional excellence that have shaped his contribution to the institution over the years.

As Deputy Vice Chancellor, Dr Herath will continue to contribute his experience, knowledge and leadership to ESOFT UNI as the institution moves forward into its next chapter. His appointment represents a continuation of his valued service and commitment to supporting the institution’s academic vision.
