Business Development Executive

Available in Colombo, Jaffna and Trincomalee branches.

Job Description:
  • Visit recommended establishments to generate leads, do promotions etc.
  • Cold calling potential customers and selling the ESOFT Products/Services.
  • Researching the target market and finding potential schools/institutions to target.
  • Attending meetings with potential direct/indirect customers and closing deals.
  • Building a sales pipeline to ensure a constant stream of sales.
  • Working to monthly sales and revenue targets as set by the branch manager.
  • Progressing towards activity targets and KPI’s set by the Branch Manager.
  • Entering all required data for sales onto the company system.
  • Updating the CRM and inputting information on customers.
  • Following up with past customers and cross selling products.
  • Aiding Student Counselors when needed.
  • Following up on leads generated by other departments/sections.
  • Investigating and resolving queries from customers.
Job Specification:
  • A professional qualification in Business Management or Marketing
  • Pleasant, Self – confident and outgoing personality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is mandatory. However, proficient in all 3 languages are preferable.
  • Ability to work independently with positive attitude to work.
  • Dynamic individual with service aptitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
