The main aim of this course is to provide students with a general education in the area of Software Engineering. The course is designed for those students who wish to specialise in building software for various software-based systems surrounding us everywhere. There are four areas that characterise the course.

These are: Software development, Information systems, Networks and distributed systems, and Internet Computing Systems. The course develops technical and non-technical skills necessary for the graduate to work in software industry.
